QuietWin ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application. We follow a principle of data minimisation — we only collect what is strictly necessary.

• Account Information: We collect your email address and an optional display name when you register to identify your account.

• Your Wins & Identity: We store the entries you log (your "wins"), including categories and timestamps. This data is used to generate your "Identity & Insights" dashboard, showing your productivity patterns and streak history.

• Analytics & Usage: We use a **self-hosted** instance of Plausible Analytics for site-wide insights. This means your anonymous usage data never leaves our controlled infrastructure. Plausible is a privacy-first, cookieless tool that does not collect personal data or track you across the web.

• Security & Bot Protection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse and spam. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. It may collect basic telemetry to verify that requests are made by humans, but it does not use tracking cookies or collect personal identifying information for marketing purposes.

• Technical Logs: Our servers log basic technical information (including IP addresses) solely for security and maintenance. These logs are used to prevent abuse (such as DDOS attacks) and are periodically purged.

To provide a secure and reliable experience, we use a limited number of vetted third-party services:

• Resend: We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (such as account verification and password resets). Resend processes your email address solely for the purpose of message delivery.

• Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Turnstile to protect our registration and feedback forms from bot abuse. It collects basic telemetry to verify you are a human, but does not use tracking cookies.

We use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve QuietWin. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Our analytics (Plausible) and our internal "Identity" tools are designed to respect your focus and privacy at every step.

Your data is stored and backed up securely within the EU on our infrastructure. We use standard encryption and follow industry best practices to protect your information from unauthorised access. Our database is regularly backed up to prevent data loss.

You are in control of your data. You can edit or delete your entries at any time directly through the interface. If you choose to delete your account via the settings page, all your data will be permanently removed from our live servers instantly. Due to our security rotation, data will then be completely purged from our backup systems within 30 calendar days.

QuietWin is operated from the United Kingdom and complies with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability.
